It started with my sisters. Every few weeks, they'd come to me with their wigs, tangled, dull, in desperate need of a proper wash, and I'd sort them out. Not because it was my job, but because I knew how to do it right and they didn't want the hassle. That's when it clicked: if my own family needed this, so did everyone else.

I've been wearing wigs since 2017 and doing hair for over 10 years. I'm self-taught, which means everything I know came from trial, error, and an obsession with getting it right. Learning the correct techniques, the right products, how to protect the lace and preserve the fiber wash after wash.

I noticed something in the wig community. Women were either struggling through DIY wash days at home, or paying extra at a hair salon just to get their unit cleaned before an appointment. There was no dedicated service built around the way women actually wear wigs today. Glueless, u-part, headband wigs. Units you install yourself and need ready to go at a moment's notice.

So I built it. The Wig Valet is for the DIY girl. The one who does her own installs, manages her own collection, and just needs someone she can trust to handle the one part she doesn't want to deal with.
